"Songs & Stories for Maureen's Haven is about community - community artists and musicians shining a spotlight on community issues," explained Sarah Faux, Curator of Songs and Stories.
After weeks of rehearsals, Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center's Young Ensemble and Teen Theatre Troupe are ready to steal the spotlight during two final performances, which are open to the public.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for artists to exhibit their work in this long standing exhibition which is hailed as the opening of the Art Season in the Hamptons," said Christina Strassfield.
"Art Groove combines the interaction of musical, performance and visual art creating a fun, unique, modern social experience," explained Geralyne Lewandowski.
"Developing bold new work from fresh voices is at the heart of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation's mission," said Anne Chaisson.
