Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center is inviting ballet dancers within the ages of five to 18 to participate in their Spring Ballet Residency with Peconic Ballet Theatre, as part of the Theatre's Arts Education Program.
"Each year, the Parrish looks forward to the enthusiasm for art making and the creativity expressed in the Student Exhibition," Museum Director Terrie Sultan said. "That energy is amplified this year by the Ladd brothers' residency."
"Both classes emphasize drawing from observation," Cara Conklin-Wingfield, the Museum's Director of Education noted.
VH1 You Oughta Know alum Scars on 45 are making their way to the East End for a performance as part of the "Breakout Artist Series."
"We are so excited to bring Red Carpet Kids Events and Programming to the Hamptons this summer," noted Eva Shure of Red Carpet Kids.
"We are thrilled to welcome Kim Fink as our new director of development," said Tracy Mitchell, Executive Director of Bay Street. "Kim brings a long history of theater and work in nonprofit cultural institutions."
The Choral Society of the Hamptons is looking for a few lucky East End residents to join them during their next concert at the East Hampton Presbyterian Church.
Comedian Joseph Vecsey is back at Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts to host their upcoming All Star Comedy Show.
East End students will star in the upcoming WHBPAC's Arts Education Program presentation of Rodgers & Hammerstein's "Once Upon a Mattress G2K."
Center Stage Director Michael Disher and writer Ilene Beckerman are teaming up for their third production at Southampton Cultural Center, "Mom, It's MY Wedding!"
