"We look forward to her bold vision, her strong leadership and to turning the page to a new and exciting chapter in the history of the Parrish Art Museum," Mary E. Frank stated.
"One of the great things about partnering with Bel Canto Boot Camp is they started this program because singers were not able to perform and work at the Metropolitan Opera and regional and local opera houses. They therefore created a boot camp for singers," Anthony Madonna relayed.
"We hope people watch these submissions and then tune into the Academy Awards to see who won," said Heather Draskin.
"The goal is not only to improve musical theater skills, or work on musical theater skills building, but to also allow the performer, the members of the camp to create their own work and their own story," Dellapolla explained.
"I'm delighted that Nathan Kernan will join me for this conversation about painters and poets and the ways in which their domestic surroundings can both nurture and reflect their artistic choices," said Alicia G. Longwell.
"Here we are these years later and under extreme circumstances with our sixth installment having exhibited more than 200 artists," Patton Miller noted.
"Some of the film choices may seem a little odd at first (a movie about taxidermists?) but they've been chosen because the filmmakers treat their subjects like real people first, and not walking talking oddities living at the edge of society," Allison Frost said.
"Fernanda and Astrid, together with their cast and crew, bring compassion, poetry, visual beauty and an unexpected touch of thriller to a story that well exemplifies the ongoing tragedy at our Southern border," SHC Artistic Director Giulia D'Agnolo Vallan said.
"It's just bizarre. It does feel like less pressure - because you've just turned on your computer, you're in your apartment, and it doesn't feel like there's much to lose. But then there are people staring at you..." Vecsey said about performing via Zoom.
"We're so happy to find a virtual outlet for these much needed discussions as Guild Hall embarks on its 90th year and we head out of a pandemic and into a new era," Elise Trucks expressed.
