"Both shows, in partnership with SCC, use black boxes theatre styles and techniques to showcase our talented student actors and allow the audience to use their imaginations to enter the world of the play," Tamara Salkin shared.
"The art history out here is incredible, and we want to keep on adding to it as we continue to blaze into the 21st century," Tripoli Patterson concluded.
"I am pleased to continue the Parrish's tradition to screen a surf movie over the Thanksgiving holiday, which resonates with our surfing community as well as those who just love the thrill of watching it," Corinne Erni reflected.
"The performers have been a big asset to the series, because they see this as a way to contribute to the community," Anthony Lombardo shared.
"Viewing her work is like being in the passenger seat next to a driver who knows how to take the road with supreme dexterity and implicit attentiveness; you feel safe at any speed," said Barry Schwabsky, Artforum.
"I am delighted to start the series of 'Artists Choose Artists' gallery talks with this illustrious group of photographers from different generations, whose images range from photojournalism to the surreal and narrative," said Corinne Erni.
A Raisin in the Sun is an explosive fireball of drama that left the audience standing and cheering as one.
"Our productions foster creativity, teamwork and blend together multi-generational artists who are at various levels in their performing arts expertise," Kasia Klimiuk shared.
"The exhibition is intended to parallel the Parrish Art Museum's 'Artists Choose Artists' show, which opened last weekend," Sara Nightingale explained. "The parameters were that the artists had to be local and had to be people who had never shown at the gallery before."
"A perfect blending of the three arts - each one expressing the other," Romany Kramoris said.
