"This year's theme is EQUITY and the films were specially selected to shed light on inspiring people and important issues around the world," Elyn Kronemeyer noted.
This event will feature a stellar array of poets - Jessica Greenbaum, Michael Klein, Eva Salzman & Neil Silberblatt - plus music by acclaimed vocalist/composer Christine Tobin.
"The sounds of the piano touches all souls," Liliane Questel told us.
"We have a basic song list, but we go with what we feel like playing for the audience," Weiskopf told us.
"It doesn't matter if the people in your life are there from the beginning of your journey to the final stop or if they ride along with you only briefly. What matters are the connections we make and what we learn from those relationships," Yarmosky told us.
"Art is a connection arising between something created by another and yourself. You are the key ingredient in that interaction," Bill Kinney noted.
"This really is an honor to be in this room," lead singer Marcus Mumford told the crowd.
"The message of my orbs on Montauk Highway is, 'Hey, there's positive energy and healing all around you, even in a traffic jam!'" Henry Richardson told us.
"My life as an artist crossed paths with politics when I met my late husband, Senator Frank Lautenberg. He taught me the equivalent of a PhD in political science. At my core I am creative, but my journey with Frank enabled an intersection of art and politics that's become who I am," remarked Bonnie Lautenberg.
"Each of these films tell a unique, thrilling story and we are excited to share them with our passionate audiences out east, with a truly remarkable lineup of some of the year's most anticipated films, events and world premiere screenings," David Nugent noted.
