"Why Roots? We are interested to see where the artists take this," Perez reflected. "Some questions that we talked over included: What are the roots of a community and what keeps them healthy? Family, country, tradition, story? How do we define our origin stories? How do they intertwine?"
"We are excited to kick off our winter series of 'A Night Out With Peter Spacek,' in collaboration with Nick & Toni's. It's a fun evening spent hanging with the artist, viewing and discussing his work while having a delicious meal," remarked Nancy Rowan.
"One of my favorite moments is an elegant soliloquy Jerry Saltz does on Jackson Pollock towards the end of the film," Carla Solomon noted.
"The class is custom-designed to the individual participant's specific goals," Allen O'Reilly relayed.
"Having legendary screenwriter/director Paul Schrader join us for the screening of First Reformed is just thrilling for the new Cinema," April Gornik reflected.
"Really excited for our first show at Bay Street Theater for 2019," says longtime All Star host Joseph Vecsey. "We have been doing this show for about 9 years and every year it gets better and better."
"This up and coming Canadian contemporary bluegrass band plays with authority and passion, respecting musical roots while pushing the envelope," Alice Clark noted.

The production was the best of what local theater can be; a combination of great acting with really good material, presented at a Broadway level - all at a very affordable price.
The first five minutes of the play Reasons To Be Pretty, now being presented by Center Stage at the Southampton Cultural Center, will get your attention perhaps as no play, movie or show ever has.
