"We're hoping it will result in a fantastic community turnout, with families and businesses alike, working together to help preserve the beauty of Montauk," Kate Rossi-Snook said.

"This year the celebration will feature a wellness theme as well as a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic," Jamie Berger noted.

"Where are the Chihuly reeds? You will have to come and explore," Matko Tomicic shared. "The Cherry trees are popping with color and a myriad of bulbs are making the gardens glorious."

"These recycling programs are important to the protection of our water systems as well as the overall health of our environment," co-organizer, Naomi Hogarty noted. "E-waste, prescription drugs and plastic bags make up a substantial amount of our overall landfill and water pollution."

"As magnificent as our shorelines are, there is one thing it should never be; and that's a dumping ground for trash and litter," event founder Dell Cullum reflected.

"In the face of sea level rise, a question comes to mind as to how we are going to adapt and create resilient shorelines," Lauren Scheer noted.
