"The funds raised at the event will benefit the construction of the future Aquatic Center at the Playhouse, providing the community with year-round fitness and recreational opportunities," Julia McCormack noted.

"My mom was a tremendously inclusive, charitable and fun-loving person," Dylan Fowler, Sarah de Havenon's son, reflected. "We wanted to put together an event that celebrated that spirit."

"Whether paddleboarding, meditating or taking a simple stroll along the beach, how we treat and care for the natural world has a positive, healing effect on all of us," Aaron Virgin noted.

"This grant comes at a time when the Town is ready to award the bid for final design plans to build the Park, and will allow us to focus on the invasive species component and wetlands restoration prior to making a final design," David Wilcox noted.
