"Helping bring together pets and people is important to us - especially during the holiday season," Amy Brostoff explained.
Each boot has multiple stories of trips in the White Mountains, the Green Mountains, the Rocky Mountains, the Alps, even Camp Hero in Montauk.
"This new hands-on exhibit will allow visitors to better understand various shark aspects, their ecological roles in the marine environment, and why there is a need to sustain shark populations through scientific research and education," Frank Quevedo relayed.
"If everyone does their part, we can make this holiday season a magical one for all children," Assemblyman Thiele noted.
Mr. Bayles explains, "On the north side from west to east were the Matinecock, the Nissequog, the Setalcott, and the Corchaug (Cutchogue) tribes. On the south side in the same order were Canarsee, the Marsapeague, the Secatogue, the Unkechaug, the Shinnecock, and the Montauk tribes (Montauketts) or groups. The Manhassets occupied Shelter Island."
Love a good holiday extravaganza?

"Cultural stigma and misinformation are barriers to mental health care that exist in our community," Dr. Valerie King explained.
"Cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation programs are designed to help people with cardiovascular problems, such as heart attacks and coronary artery bypass graft surgery, as well as pulmonary problems like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and respiratory symptoms, to recover faster and improve their quality of life," said Craig Homis.
