"I am so proud to be a part of such a fine organization that helps make the holidays special for children who are less fortunate," stated Assemblyman Fred Thiele. "If everyone does their part, we can make this holiday season a magical one for children."

"It warms us up at Heart of the Hamptons to see all of the people that turn out to support the local charity that is here to help local people in crisis," remarked Hilton Crosby.

Remember when to call someone you either called his or her office or home?

"There is no question that winter seems to bring to the fore the feel of old East Hampton," said Randye Lordon.

"As a high school student I thought it would be beneficial to work in the elementary school because we can show younger kids that you don't have to be an adult to make changes in the community," reflected Cayla Kuey.

"We are grateful for each and every donation," April Gornik explained. "In fact, over $1 million has been raised from donations of $1,000 or less, showing what an exemplary community we have and what broad-based interest there in in making this dream come true."

"This annual event is the talk of the Hamptons, with people coming far and wide to experience our legendary Cookie Walk, take home our fresh hand-made wreaths, and purchase holiday gifts," explained Mary Castro.

"I'm very happy and excited that the judges selected my business, Tote Taxi, as the winner of the first Hamptons RipTide: $ink or $wim event," shared winner Danielle Candela, the CEO and Founder of Tote Taxi.

I always thought there might be affordable space travel in my lifetime, who knows maybe there will be.
