"This cath lab brings extended care to a population who previously could not access potentially life-saving care within the recognized critical window of time and diagnostic services important for ongoing care," noted Dr. Reuven Pasternak, Vice President for Health Systems for Stony Brook Medicine.
"We deliver 40 meals every Wednesday year-round to seniors, shut-ins, ill and homebound community members," shared J. Hilton Crosby, Jr., MS.
"The winner takes home a year's supply of Fudge from Fat Ass Fudge, one of our vendors at the Festival," Eve Kaplan-Walbrecht shared about the inaugural Garlic Breath Contest.
"The incidence of tick-borne illnesses continues to grow on the East End of Long Island, and we must do everything we can to stem that growth because of the devastating effect of the diseases on public health," reflected Legislator Fleming.
"Learning about the multitudes of indigenous communities is an important part of empowerment, unity, and education," Autumn Rose Miskweminanocsqua Williams reflected. "I felt that tonight and it was powerful. I learned from each contestant and we all encouraged each other to do and be our best!"
"We are excited to bring the entire community together in a way that educates, inspires and motivates people of all ages to enjoy the adventure of aviation," shared Kathryn Slye.
These East End races will make you want to kick your training into high gear.
"Team Rubicon is a disaster response organization that unites the skills of veterans and civilian first responders," explained Marc DeNofio.
"The East End warmly welcomed A Walk On Water three years ago and it's our privilege and honor to be returning to this wonderful community annually to share the magic that is Surf Therapy," shared Steven Lippman.
