"We are positively thrilled to receive this grant from the NEA to help with the launch of 'Community Creates,'" added Steve Long, the Museum's president.
"The water that surrounds all of us is a most important issue," explained Christopher Kohan.
The "Give Where You Live" campaign was established to create awareness about the need for support of our charitable organizations on the East End.
"This Memorial Day weekend experience for vacationers and residents was laid-back and fun, the qualities that personify Montauk as a vacation spot for families," noted Paul Monte.
"Don't seek a job nor a career but find a calling - something you want to do all your life, that you will sacrifice for, but in the end, be rewarded; if not with fame at least with a life of choice," says Lenor Larsen.
"The beach is backed by large sand dunes covered by American beach grass interspersed with large and extravagant mansions," he reasoned.
"Back in 2002, when I first started my company, I literally went door-to-door, up and down Madison Avenue searching for products to promote in the Hamptons," explained Jane Ubell-Meyer.
"I'm delighted with the support we provide every year to both local, regional and national not-for-profits that focus on cancer prevention, research and care and other important initiatives that help so many worthwhile charities," said Ann Liguori.
"Our message is 'Walk for the Women You Love,'" said Dottie Herman.
"The MHS will be selling 'treasures' from the Second House to make way for our restoration," noted Kathryn Nadeau.
