"When households struggle to feed themselves, they also struggle to feed their pets, and the success of this campaign highlights how much we can accomplish by joining together on their behalf," Leslie Granger said.

"We couldn't fundraise for the camp in March 2020 - because we didn't know if there would be a camp, and at that time, people really started telling me we need food. All the people I reached out to said they really needed food," Molin told us.

For too long I have been focused on what I cannot do during the COVID pandemic. Channeling the idea of positive thinking, I decided to dwell on what I am going to do when this pandemic is finally over.

Early January every year is the time for renewal. It's a time to refocus on long and short-term goals.

"I always look forward to the days that Greg comes to volunteer because he makes us laugh and lights up the shelter with his can-do attitude," Crystal Monaco noted.

Many out east go to a beach daily, others just during a tough stretch to stare out over the sea, perhaps wondering what might happen next.

"We originally started with a goal of $10,000 and with the overwhelming support from the community, we surpassed that within one week of launching the GoFundMe page," Steve Glick noted.

"I have two dogs and I adopted them both from ARF. They're one of the best parts of my life. I love them very much and I wanted to help anyway I could," Charles Caravan told Hamptons.com.

I have high hopes that 2021 is the turnaround year, the year we head towards a new wonderful safe normal.

"I'm extremely grateful to be part of the solution to this disease that has tragically impacted so many," said Dr. Schiff. "This vaccine allows me to continue safely caring for my patients, while better protecting my family, friends and community."
