The idea here is not to just eat the takeout at home in your kitchen, but to get outside and enjoy the amazing summertime in the Hamptons experience with a touch of Americana. After all, when was the last time you said, "Let's do a picnic?"

"The day was beautiful, the birds were chirping and the celebration was everything we had hoped. Our goal was to shine light on a difficult time by celebrating our love," Dr. Golden expressed.

"Our message throughout this time has been one of positivity - we have always served as a beacon for our patrons, using the arts to uplift," said Executive Director, Julienne Penza-Boone.

"We hope to relieve the burden on local institutions by helping to care for these patients at home, as well as through continued donations of PPE to support front line workers in New York and on Long Island," Andrew Olanow relayed.

"During these socially isolating times, we are trying new ways of communicating with the public," Barbara McClancy, chair of the Voter Services Committee of the League of Women Voters of the Hamptons, Shelter Island and North Fork, said. "These debates will follow our usual format, but the candidates, the League moderator and League timekeeper will all be participating...

"Lake Agawam is one of the most polluted lakes in our State," said Dr. Gobler. "This buoy will allow us to monitor and report, in real-time, changes in the ecological parameters of the Lake."

"The opening of beaches on a trial basis will be closely monitored. We ask for everyone's patience and cooperation so that we may all enjoy continued progress against COVID-19, and make the best of a summer that will be like no other," Town Supervisor Peter Van Scoyoc said.

"Frontline health care workers have been rightfully lauded as the heroes of the COVID-19 crisis response for tirelessly working to protect the lives and health of New Yorkers, while selflessly putting their own safety at risk in order to do so," Assemblyman Thiele stated.

It's the same East End towns, hamlets and beaches. What's different are the safety protocols in place to protect all of us from the coronavirus and what we are now seeing is even the strictest of rules will not stop the Hamptons summer season of 2020.
