"I Am the Night" star Chris Pine was joined by co-star India Eisley and director Patty Jenkins at the New York premiere of the TNT show at Metrograph. The screening brought out Zachary Quinto and several other notable names. An after party was held at 214 Lafayette.

The National Board of Review Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street brought out several a-list stars, including "A Star is Born" co-stars Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, "Crazy Rich Asians" leading ladies, Constance Wu, Gemma Chan, Michelle Yeoh and Awkwafina, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Sophia Bush, and many, many more.

There was a double celebration at one location on Main Street in Sag Harbor - for the grand opening of Julie Keyes’s new "Keyes Art Gallery" at the American Hotel, and for the birthday of Julie’s partner (and featured gallery artist) Nathan Slate Joseph. Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff gathered friends - including Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia, Sharon Bush, NYS Assemblywoman Rebecca Seawright, Barbara Tober, Ben Widdicombe, Susan Gutfreund, CeCe Black, and many more - at Omar at Vaucluse for her fifth annual holiday luncheon in support of New York City Mission Society.

The Cinema Society, with FIJI Water, Lindt Chocolate, "Entertainment Weekly" and "People," hosted a special screening of Disney's "Mary Poppins Returns" at the SVA Theater in New York City. The viewing brought out several notable names, including the film's stars Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

A very festive tradition of a family style breakfast returned to Cormaria at Bay Street in Sag Harbor. Families filled the spacious dining room and enjoyed holiday time with Sister Ann Marino during the fundraiser for Cormaria.

Heart of the Hamptons (HOH) hosted the 15th Annual Polar Bear Plunge at Cooper's Beach in Southampton. Community members, donning Santa, superhero, and other creative outfits, dashed into the Atlantic Ocean in support of HOH.

Long Island Bulldog Rescue held its annual Bash for the Bulldogs, presented by Coco Austin, at the Kimmel Center at NYU. The evening also brought out Jill Rappaport.

A Southampton gathering hosted by Suri Kasirer and Bruce Teitelbaum was held in honor of Chris Babu's latest novel, The Expedition.

Wölffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack kicked off the holiday season with its annual Lighting of the Vines 2018: A Charity Wreath Auction and Holiday Gathering. As attendees reveled in holiday cheer, they had the chance to bid on gorgeous wreaths, with proceeds supporting Fight Chance.
