The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation will host their fifth annual benefit at the Boardy Barn in Hampton Bays.

With clear skies and shining sun, the first pitch of the 66th annual East Hampton Artists & Writers Celebrity Softball Game was thrown at 2 p.m., after about two hours of batting practice.

It was an almost autumn-like evening for the Children's Museum of the East End's Arabian Night's Gala that hosted over 200 guests. Over $250,000 was raised and all of these proceeds will go toward the ongoing capital campaign that will help update the exhibits at the museum to ensure its long-term sustainably for future generations.

Today ARF is a Hamptons institution which celebrated its 40th Anniversary with a sold out Bow Wow Meow Ball on its 22 acre Wainscott facility. Watermill Center's Robert Wilson and Broadway producers Darryl Roth, Bonney Comley, and Stewart Lane were among the social crowd of animal lovers.

"We are thrilled to be hosting SummerFest, where the entire community will be getting involved to support Southampton Arts Center, a hub of arts and culture in Southampton Village," said SummerFest co-chair Simone Levinson.

The New York City Mission Society's annual "Evening in the Hamptons" event will be held at the East Hampton estate of Ted and Dina Merrill Hartley.
