"As most of you know the Hospital is without a doubt the most important entity to support in the Hamptons," Jean Shafiroff told the large group invited for cocktails to her home in support of the Stony Brook Southampton Hospital's 61st Annual Summer Party.
"What's not to love about this group?" Chuck Scarborough asked. "It's the only place on the eastern end of Long Island where you can take an injured or sick wild animal."
"This Gala will be a wonderful opportunity to help with this mission and enjoy the company of community members and visitors that share in this quest," Nancy Remkus shared.
"This year's gala is titled 'If Your Friends Could See You Now,' and it will celebrate the Broadway musicals of the 1960s," Scott Schwartz, Bay Street Theater's Artistic Director, shared.
Actress Naomi Watts co-hosted a fête at her Sag Harbor store, while the stars of "Summer House" came out to support a cast member's Hamptons DJ set.
Who's ready for the return of polo?
"We expect over 600 guests as we have a very loyal following and our gift bags are much sought after," said co-chairs, Betsy Bean and Tom Diffley.
"The East End of Long Island is made up of land and water and protecting both of them and improving both of them is at the essence of the protection strategy for the East End," Kevin McDonald told Hamptons.com.
"Heart disease is the number 1 killer and an issue we should be talking and thinking about," Humanitarians With Heart Honorees Toby and Larry Milstein said.
"It's important for us to recognize the continued efforts of everyone involved with The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center. The commitment to rehabilitate Long Island's wildlife is a shared passion for us all," reflected Director of Development Shelley Berkoski.
