"As firemen, who had the honor of working with Trip and Chris, we felt compelled to give back to the military community, and organize an event that would pay homage not only to the seven heroes that paid the ultimate price, but also honor their families," noted Francis Thomas.
"We are looking forward to celebrating with old and new friends as we raise funds to support our continued volunteer work offering free medical treatment, education, and training to adults and children suffering from the lack of quality health care in impoverished countries around the world," noted Medhat Allam.
"This annual event offers an opportunity to celebrate Cornell Cooperative Extension's SPAT Program and all of the hard working volunteers and participants who are part of this effort," Kimberly Barbour shared.
The North Fork TV Festival kicked off with a Thursday night soiree that paid tribute to Blue Bloods star Bridget Moynahan.
"The party was pitch-perfect and full of adorable children whom we're looking forward to entertaining in the new Sag Harbor Cinema!" April Gornik shared.
"All profits from the event help fund projects to protect and preserve the unique and historic character of the 'Heart of Springs,' and every little bit helps make a huge positive impact to protect this legacy for future generations," Wendy Hall, Chairperson, Heart of Springs, noted.
"When we started it would have been hard to imagine marking this milestone," Whitney Knowlton noted.
"In just three short years, the event has become quite the hot ticket," Abas told us.
The Shark Week themed soiree included a performance by Earth, Wind & Fire.
"It's one of the few places where guests can eat, drink and dance under the stars of Southampton," Tom Edmonds noted.
