"What art has given me is not just a hobby: it's a passion. And I get to live with it," honoree Chad Leat told us.
"The evening is a celebration of what the Shelter has accomplished this past year, the animals saved, the successful placements of shelter pets in wonderful forever homes, new programs like the Shelter's humane education programs and new opportunities for shelter dogs," reflected Katie McEntee.
"As Long Island's only LGBT services organization, we're proud to operate the East End's only LGBT community center," shared Robert Vitelli.
"Everything we do is centered on finding cures and saving children," noted Bertie Downs, Regional Development Director, ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®.
Now that we're nearly halfway through July, the Hamptons scene is really heating up.
"Hotel Transylvania" in the Hamptons brought out several notable names and their little ones.
"I started Wings Over Haiti after the earthquake because of my shock and dismay by the plight of so many injured Haitian people and especially the children," Glynn reflected.
"I believe travel makes the world a better place," said Brian Kelly, Founder and CEO of The Points Guy.
"It has been very satisfying raising money to assist in the quest for cures for cancer. One in three people will be affected by the disease in their lifetime," Maria Fishel noted.
"Music made me a better person and I want to give it back," Lang Lang told Hamptons.com.
