"The American Heart Association's Heart and Stroke Ball celebrates the work and mission of our donors and volunteers; and — most importantly — the lives saved and improved because of everyone's involvement in events like this," said Renee Pope, Heart & Stroke Ball Co-Chair.

"The proceeds from our annual comedy show go a long way towards helping us reach our goals and for the future of a new shelter for the Town of Riverhead," Claudia Ferrara explained.
"Spring Fling helps to raise essential support for the Museum's year-round children's education programs, as well as Access Parrish, a recent initiative for children and adults with special needs, including visitors with dementia and their care partners," noted Christine Curiale-Steinmuller.
"Rock the Retreat began as an idea to bring the local community together in a very approachable way to spread awareness about the mission and work being done at The Retreat," said Andrew Stern, Retreat board member.
"The annual Hampton Lifeguard Association benefit kicks off the 25th year of the Junior Lifeguard Program and the 46th year for the Lifeguard Program," said John Ryan, Jr.
The charity has been growing its efforts in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Peru, areas the Shafiroff's know well and are already engaged in.
"I'm so amazed that I'm on the show 10 years, and the show's lasted 10 years," Singer said.
"This Pachanga is dedicated to those who have been able to find their strength and those still struggling who rely on all of us to listen and to honor their experiences so that their healing can begin," says Minvera Perez, Executive Director of OLA of Eastern Long Island.
