East End celebrations for Missoni and the launch of Revolve x House of Harlow 1960 brought out several notable names who donned their chicest summer looks.
"In tribute to the extraordinary philanthropist and Watermill supporter Madame Giancarla Berti, I am honored to collaborate with international artists ANOHNI, The Bruce High Quality Foundation, Shaun Gladwell and Pussy Riot, alongside our emerging Summer Program artists," expressed Robert Wilson.
Reminded of the first verse of the Rolling Stones song Gimme Shelter one could make a connection to those four-footed dogs among us that are in desperate need of forever homes, "Oh, a storm is threat'ning, My very life today, If I don't get some shelter, Oh yeah, I'm gonna fade away."
"We are very excited about our summer event; with the exterior restoration nearly complete, the proceeds from the event will help us toward our goal of completing the interior restoration and opening the house to the public next summer," said Curt Schade, the Trust's Chairman.
"For over fifteen years, my family has been supporting the Alzheimer's Association to accelerate progress towards finding effective treatments, and ultimately a cure, for this devastating disease," explained Karyn Kornfeld, this year's Rita Hayworth Gala Chair.
"What we want to do," Dr. Waxman said, "is understand the cause of cancer at the root level, how this happens."
A Southampton hotspot will host a performance from the Summertime Shootout hip-hop artist, and the local art scene is coming together for a special collaboration.
"We recognize that without art, societies get stagnant, they go backwards," Russell Simmons. told the crowd. "Without creativity our souls are like prisoners."
"Our 25th year Jubilee Benefit, Serious Moonlight, promises to uphold the high artistic standards of everything we do at LongHouse while being a great party," explained President Dianne Benson.
"I think this particular day has turned into a reunion," said Windsor. "All three of the organizations being represented here tonight are very close to my heart. This is probably the biggest event like this out in the Hamptons."
