"The Group has been working for more than four decades to protect our bays, harbors and drinking water on the East End," noted Katherine Leahy Birch.
"All funds raised at our party raised allow us to continue our important work," explained David Ludwigson.
"Each year we are humbled by the generosity of Navy Beach and the Montauk and larger Hamptons' community," said Marc Wolf.
Here's this weekend's not-to-be missed Hamptons happenings.
The annual DDD Sale brought out several notable names and a Hamptons hotspot hosted a birthday celebration and performance in honor of a Def Jam rapper.
"We're very delighted to honor Ba and Jim Edwards who have been wonderful friends and supporters of the Center," said Ruth Ann McSpadden.
"The most important thing about the party is the people," says Jack. "It's not the food."
"It has been my honor to dedicate our home, for this event, and a portion of proceeds from my new magazine, GALERIE, to assist the amazingly resilient youth of Hetrick-Martin, as well as the exciting outreach work they are doing to share HMI's mission with the world," explained Lisa Cohen.
"It's like Vegas to me," said Aida Turturro — arguably the biggest single spender at the event.
"I'm always trying to stay a step ahead," Rick Friedman told Hamptons.com. "It's not fun following people."
