"She is one of the foremost fundraisers for many causes including needy children, women's issues, animals, the lighthouse, and hospitals," Maloney told the room.
"I don't think there is a family out there who isn't hit or affected by cancer," noted Philanthropic Honoree Jean Shafiroff.
"Our Dogs Playing For Life program has saved a number of dogs who were marked for euthanasia in other shelters, only to find out they are playful out of a kennel and in a pack," explained Kate McEntee.
"As government spending gets tighter and tighter, raising funds gets more important for our over-all mission - to continue to provide excellent services to the intellectually-disabled," said Walter Stockton.
Since 2009, the Fund's rite of spring is the Scully & Scully annual "Tulip Party," celebrating the iconic mall tulips.
