The Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation hosted their annual Gala on the Playhouse grounds. The sold-out fundraiser had over 400 people in attendance and featured a high-energy concert by Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue (underwritten by The Surf Lodge), that brought the crowd to the dance floor. The event was highlighted by drummer Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers jumping in for an amazing rendition of RHCP’s Give it Away — to the delight of the crowd.
