Chloe’s offers the ideal sweet treat to get into that summer feeling. What started as an alternative to frozen yogurt made from just fruit, water and cane sugar is now the fastest growing non-dairy novelty in the freezer section. They first launched their frozen pop line with fruit pops, then moved to more decadent offerings with fruit dipped in dairy-free dark chocolate and oat milk-based pops.
The idea for Chloe’s was conceived of in the Hamptons and that is where the experimenting began! It is only right that their Hamptons presence continues to evolve every summer.
This summer is super exciting as Chloe’s expands their partnership with Juice Press and brings their Soft Serve Fruit out East. For the first time in several years, Chloe’s signature Soft Serve Fruit will be swirling exclusively for the season in Juice Press’ Southampton Shop. Now you can satisfy that frozen treat craving without all the artificial stuff in a cup or on a stick so as they say, “Go ahead treat yourself!”
Chloe’s Founder, Chloe Epstein spoke to Hamptons.com about healthy living, collaboration with Juice Press, and the Hamptons.
1. What inspired you to create these delicious vegan Pops?
The inspiration behind Chloe’s stems from my intense sweet tooth and my commitment to a healthy lifestyle! When I became pregnant with my first child, I started paying close attention to the quality of the foods I was eating and became focused on removing the artificial stuff from my diet. Shockingly, I couldn’t find anything in the freezer aisle with high-quality, simple ingredients that could satisfy those frozen treat cravings – so Chloe’s was born!
Our goal today remains the same as it did when we started – provide delicious, better-for-you eating experiences without compromising on ingredients and overall health. We are always innovating and expanding with that in mind.
2. What are some of your favorite flavors?
This should be the easiest question but it’s ever-changing based on the day and what I’m craving! While chocolate is generally not my “go-to” flavor, our Dark Chocolate Pop is something special and always hits the spot. Two other favorites include our irresistible Oatmilk Cookies & Cream Pop, and the kids and I have been excessively snacking on our new Strawberry-Mango Marvel pops. They are a smaller portion size so we’re always going back for more.
3. How has the drastic increase in veganism affected your sales, and why do you think veganism is on the rise?
Now more than ever, people are more conscious of their health and more educated on what they put into their bodies – which has impacted the way people live, eat and the products they give to their families. We knew that if we could create something delicious that prioritized taste, transparency, and simple ingredients, we could attract eaters who are focused on eating mindfully, as well as those looking to honor their commitment to different dietary and lifestyle choices, like veganism.
With Chloe’s, we were able to create a delicious, high-quality treat and communicate to families that it’s possible to enjoy the treats you love without concern or regret. All our pops are dairy-free, plant-based, Non-GMO Project Verified, free of artificial ingredients, gluten-free, Kosher and always irresistible. We will continue to satisfy frozen treat cravings for all diets.
4. What can you tell us on the collaboration with Juice Press?
We are thrilled to expand our partnership with a likeminded brand like Juice Press. While Juice Press has carried our pops in select stores for some time, we were excited to have them take over our Union Square location in NYC at the start of the year. We are further delighted to have our Pops and Soft Serve Fruit at the Juice Press Southampton shop this summer. With a focus on better-for-you eating, together, Chloe’s x Juice Press will cover all your cravings and we look forward to seeing where else we POP up together!
5. What are some of your favorite places in the Hamptons?
I feel like a new person every time I arrive out East and am counting down the days until I get to spend more time in my happy place! This summer will be all about the beach, bike rides, and boat time. I look forward to being out of the city and the traffic, which has been brutal the past few months! I’m always looking forward to time at Sunset Beach, Crow’s Nest, and of course, Babinskis.
6. Where can people purchase these pops in the Hamptons?
You can find Chloe’s at King Kullen, IGA in East Hampton and Montauk, Juice Press Southampton, and a complete selection on Fresh Direct. We are happy to be so easily accessible this summer and can’t wait for a sweet season ahead.
