Annual ARF Day In East Hampton Gives Animals Chance At A New Home

On Saturday, May 11, 2013, the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF)hosted its annual ARF Day, which has been recognized by the town of East Hampton. During the Pet Appreciation Day event, guests gathered to enjoy fun games and competitions with their pets. New pets were adopted while previously adopted pets came back with their owners for a fun visit.

Executive Director of ARF, Sara Davison, explained the importance of animal adoptions, “When you adopt an animal, you’re actually saving the life of two animals” as you not only save the pet you adopt, but you make room for another animal at the shelter.
