The Commission on Veterans Patriotic Events is scheduled to hold it’s annual Southampton Village Independence Day Parade on Friday, July 4th at 10 a.m. The floats in this year’s parade will enter on Elm Street from Hampton Road, across from the Southampton Town Hall. The parade begins at Railroad Plaza, continuing down North Main Street, Main Street, Jobs Lane, with the review stand at Monument

The North Sea Fire Department in Southampton will hold its annual carnival and fireworks celebration done by Bay Fireworks. The North Sea Fire Department is located at 149 Noyac Road. The firework show will begin at approximately 10 p.m. on July 4th. People are able to anchor their boats in Little Peconic Bay for a good view.

The Suffolk Theater in Riverhead will be hosting a, “July 4th on Main Street” celebration from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., preceding the Riverhead fireworks show. The park is located on Peconic Avenue.

The Montauk Chamber of Commerce will host their annual “Stars Over Montauk” fireworks show by the famous, Grucci Fireworks. The show is set to begin at 9 p.m. and will be held at Umbrella Beach on July 4th. The show should last about 25 minutes. The Montauk Chamber has sponsored this show for over 16 years. Note: Due to the potential rain and wind, the fireworks show scheduled for Friday night has been moved to the rain date of Saturday night. It will start at 9 p.m.

The Westhampton Beach Country Club will hold their annual Grucci fireworks show at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 4th for those at the club as well as people viewing from Main Street and on nearby Dune Road. If there is inclement weather, the rain date will be July 5th.

The Sag Harbor Yacht Club will hold the “John A. Ward Independence Day Fireworks” celebration on Saturday, July 5th at about 9:30 p.m. The best spot to view will be from Marine Park, Haven’s Beach, or Sag Harbor’s Long Wharf.
