Southampton Youth Services’ annual Family Fun Day on October 11, 2014 promises to be a day filled with excitement, complete with family activities, carnival games, crafts, auctions and prizes, clowns and inflatables. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Southampton Youth Services’ Scholarship Fund.
Demonstrations at the Family Fun Day will include a Kids Fun Run ages 12 and under at 11:30 a.m., a Music Together Presentation at 12:30 p.m., a presentation from Hampton Gymnastic East at 1 p.m., Karate at 1:45 p.m., a Hula Hoop Competition at 2:15 p.m. and music performances. Attendees will also enjoy face painting, flash tattoos, cotton candy, pizza by Deli Counter, burritos by Sabrosa Mexican Grill and ice cream by Beach Treats.
As part of their “give back” mission, Sabrosa Mexican Grill will present Southampton Youth Services with a $2,000 donation.
Family Fun Day is free for children under 12, $5 for teens and $10 for adults. The first 100 children will also receive a free t-shirt.
Southampton Youth Services is a non-for-profit that, in partnership with Southampton Town, offers local youth and their families a safe and enjoyable place to “play, dream, grown and learn.” The organization offers both youth and adult athletic and fitness programs and classes, after school programs, dance and karate classes and much more.
