Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) is continuing the celebration of their 40th Anniversary by offering ARF supporters with a month of festivities and events to support animal adoption and rescue efforts. The East End organization is dedicated to rescuing abandoned cats and dogs across Suffolk County, as well as providing them with the necessary care before matching them with loving homes and families.
Throughout the entire month of October, ARF is hosting “October Celebrations at the ARF Thrift and Treasure Shop.” In honor of the milestone anniversary, ARF is offering customers up to 40 “Purr” cent off the entire ARF Thrift and Treasure Shop (17 Montauk Highway, Sagaponack, 631-537-3682). Shoppers can also stock up on festive holiday favorites from Claus Paws and Company.
In an effort to promote cat adoptions, ARF is holding “ARF Cats and Café Max” throughout October. Animal lovers who adopt a black (and white) kitten or cat, or any adult cat over the age of one will receive a gift certificate to Café Max. (Note: limited certificates are available)
Concluding ARF’s October events is a “Yard Sale at ARF,” on Saturday, October 18, 2014. From 8 a.m. till 12 p.m., ARF supporters can find great products at bargain prices at the ARF Adoption Center (90 Daniels Hole Road, Wainscott).
