The Village of Southampton is spreading festive cheer throughout the holiday season with Southampton Country Holiday presents “It’s a Wonderful Village.” All during the month of December, festive events will be held all around the Hamptons town.
On Saturday, December 6th enjoy Hayrides around the Village courtesy of Scorpion Farms from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tours leave from Southampton Arts Center (25 Jobs Lane, Southampton, 631- 283-0967, southamptoncenter.org). The main event, “It’s a Wonderful Village,” features a holiday stroll, carolers, music, horse and buggy rides, hot chocolate, cookies and other festive happenings from 1 to 4 p.m. Make sure you don’t miss Santa who will be visiting the Southampton Chamber of Commerce (76 Main Street, Southampton) from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. for a meet and greet.

On Saturday, December 14th, take a quick dip in the ocean at Coopers Beach (268 Meadow Lane, Southampton) during the annual Polar Bear Plunge, which begins promptly at 10 a.m. The annual event raises funds for the Human Resources of the Hamptons (www.hrhamptons.org). Once again, Scorpion Farms will be offering Hayrides around the Village starting at Southampton Arts Center (25 Jobs Lane, Southampton) from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Santa will be back in the Hamptons for a visit and light refreshments at the Rogers Memorial Library (91 Coopers Farm Road, Southampton, 631-283-0774, www.myrml.org) from 2 to 4 p.m.
Anna, Elsa, and Hans from Disney’s “Frozen” are stopping by the Southampton Arts Center (25 Jobs Lane, Southampton, www.nycharities.org) on Sunday, December 14th to delight little ones with a live musical theatrical show straight from Broadway. Performances will take place at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $30.
