“Patient safety at Southampton Hospital is of critical importance and Deborah Maile is an important asset to our team,” noted Robert S. Chaloner, Southampton Hospital President & CEO. “In addition to her infection prevention responsibilities, she also plays a key role in the Hospital’s Tick-Borne Disease Resource Center, communicating with patients who have been infected by a tick bite and need information and referrals to local physicians.”
After demonstrating a mastery of infection prevention and control knowledge, Director of Southampton Hospital’s Infection Prevention Department, Deborah Maile, RN, BSN, CIC, CRSCT, has achieved re-certification in Infection Control.
