“Our annual fair is designed to create a wonderful, fun-filled environment for adults and children to enjoy themselves, availing themselves of games, prizes, delicious food, and the opportunity to bid on extraordinary gifts in our silent auction,” shared Reverend Denis Brunelle.
Taking place every summer for over 100 years, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church is hosting their Family Fair on Saturday, July 4th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Held on the grounds of St. Luke’s in East Hampton, the festivity will feature entertaining activities for all ages, including a water slide, face painting, pony rides, the hysterical Big Apple Circus clown Dikki Ellis, Evan Gottfried’s Family Music Extravaganza, a bounce house, mystifying mysteries of magic, arcade carnival games and prizes, and arts and crafts. After exhausting themselves playing the various games, fairgoers can refuel with traditional BBQ fair like hamburgers, hot dogs, sodas and lemonade or clams for seafood lovers.
Shoppers can browse through a vintage clothing booth or bid on the various auction items, which include rounds at the Maidstone Club and the Bridge Club, a weekend at a gorgeous Bridgehampton home, gift certificates from the finest food stores in the Hamptons, a 5 piece place settings of Wedgwood Nantucket china, and two house seats for a Broadway play of the bidder’s choice. The kids’ silent auction will include a grab bag of earthly delights, a week at the Sportime sports camp in Amagansett, two beautiful bikes, paddle boards, tennis lessons, and more.
A portion of funds raised from the event will support local organizations, like Maureen’s Haven, Community Soup Dinners, and The Retreat, through the church’s outreach program.
Admission to the Family Fair is free, and games are $2 each.
