“The art community in the Hamptons has always been so generous in their support of the Bridgehampton Museum and the non-for-profit organizations on the East End,” said Lynnette Pintauro, Museum Administrator.
On Saturday, August 15th, the Bridgehampton Museum is returning the favor by shining a spotlight on East End artists during “A Spectacular Silent Art Auction & Cocktail Party.” From 6 to 8 p.m., attendees will discover over 100 magnificent works by local artists and artisans at the Corwith House grounds.
Featured artists will include Barbara Bilotta, Carol Boye, Catherine Buxhoeveden- Holzer, John Philip Capello, Linda Capello, Thomas Condon, Susan D’Alessio, Carol DeVito, Terry Elkins, Anna Franklin, Muffie Galban, Barbara Hadden, Whitney Hansen, Janet Jennings, Barbara Jones, Anita Kusick, Beau LaWall, Cynthia Loewen, Pingree Louchheim, Gordon Matheson, Nancy Ness, Deborah Palmer, Joseph Pintauro, Dan Pollera, Lisa Polhemus, Gabrielle T Raacke, Stephanie Reit, Mary Lee Robertson, Bernie Springsteel, Ty Stroudsburg, Kathryn Szoka, Joan B. Tripp, Gayle Tudisco, Dan Welden, Dale Werner, and Darius Yektai.
The event will also showcase decoys by Capt. Jack Combs and Bob Hand, ceramics and sculptures by Mary Jaffe and Miles Jaffe, and dolls by Jeanelle Myers. “It’s always a pleasure to work with so many talented people,” noted Pintauro.
As guests take in the artwork, they can nibble on hors d’oeuvres by Dark Horse Catering, sip on wine by Wolffer Estate Vineyards, and dance to music by The Banjo Rascals.
