“In addition to being a fabulous time for families, CMEE’s 10th Birthday Party is a wonderful way to thank the many, many people who were instrumental in building the Museum and making it a success,” noted Steve Long, CMEE’s president. “Because of the incredible efforts of the Museum’s founders, staff, trustees, donors and other stakeholders over the past decade, CMEE can serve as a vital resource for thousands of young families on the East End.”
The festivities will include a wide variety of activities like mini golf, rockets, lava lamps, drip painting, games, songs, food, and even a few birthday surprises. The celebration will also serve as the unveiling of a notable new Museum addition, their new donor wall.
CMEE debuted over Columbus Day Weekend in 2005, with the mission of providing educational opportunities for children on the East End of Long Island. Since its inception, the Museum has also turned into a key resource for underserved members of the community through its literacy programs for Spanish speaking families, free access to EBT cardholders, and by teaming up with other non-profit groups with similar missions.
Admission to the event is free, but space is limited. To RSVP, call 631-537-8250 or visit www.cmee.org.
Children’s Museum of the East End is located at 376 Bridgehampton/Sag Harbor Turnpike in Bridgehampton.
