On Sunday, July 24th, the Citizens for Access Rights (CfAR) will host their summer fundraiser at Harbor Bistro in East Hampton from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“We are changing it up a bit this year and hosting our annual fundraiser at Harbor Bistro. With live music outside and a fantastic water view, Harbor Bistro is a perfect location to celebrate summer,” explained Nicole Starr Castillo of CfAR. “We will have some great auction items up for grabs and looking to continue to spread the word protecting public beach access.”
CfAR is an East End-based organization that supports open access to all beaches. Their belief is that the ocean and bay beaches should be made accessible to the local residents that live and work on and around them. They strive to preserve the right to enjoy the beaches.
The organization’s annual fundraiser will feature a cocktail reception, hors d’oeuvres, entertainment by The Spaghetti Westerners, and a silent auction.
A suggested donation of $20 per current CfAR member will be accepted. This will include a complimentary drink. For those renewing their membership at the door, the suggested donation begins at $25. Attendees under 21 are free. All proceeds from the event benefit CfAR and their efforts.
Harbor Bistro is located at 313 Three Mile Harbor Hog Creek Road in East Hampton. For more information, visit www.citizensforaccessrights.com.
