From Friday, September 23rd through Sunday, September 25th, Southampton Village will be bursting with electrifying entertainment during its annual SeptemberFest Festival which will delight and engage locals and visitors alike with Concerts in the Park and live music throughout the Village, a Chowder Contest, face painting, art, dance, a Harvest Day Fair, “Taste of the East End” and much more.
“SeptemberFest has become a main event for the East End during the fall,” noted Southampton Village Mayor Mark Epley. “It is a great opportunity to showcase our arts organizations, merchants and restaurants and let people experience the beauty of Southampton Village at one of the best times of the year.”

Southampton Rotary Club will host the opening night festivity. On Friday night, get ready to kick-off the Festival during a party at Agawam Park. From 6:30 to 10 p.m., partygoers will listen to live music from New Life Crisis as they sip on local wine and craft beer and nosh on food provided by local gourmet food trucks. Admission is $30 in advance and $40 at the door and proceeds support Southampton Rotary’s Scholarship and Endowment Fund.
Saturday’s festivities will commence at 10 a.m. with a Farmers Market on the grounds of Southampton Arts Center (25 Jobs Lane). Fun for the Kids on the grounds of Southampton Arts Center and a Harvest Day Fair at Southampton Historical Museum (17 Meeting House Lane) will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., while live music throughout the Village and a Friends of the Library Book Sale on the grounds of Southampton Arts Center will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can check out masterpieces from local artists during Art Vendors in the Park from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and take a trip back in time during a ride on the Wells Fargo Stagecoach, which departs from Agawam Park from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Bring the little ones to the grounds of Southampton Arts Center for juggling, beatbox and comedy by Jester Jim at 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Taste test locally made chowders and help decide who is the “Best of the Hamptons” during a Chowder Contest at Agawam Park at 12 p.m. and then stick around to “Taste of the East End” and listen to live concerts until 6 p.m. Chas Addams: Family and Friends – an exhibition at Southampton Arts Center that showcases an iconic collection of works by cartoonist Charles Addams – will be on display from 12 to 7 p.m., with an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m.

Get an early start on Sunday at the Farmers Market on the grounds of Southampton Arts Center, which is open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Once you’ve explored all the amazing locally made goods, head to Agawam Park for live jazz from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. “Taste of the East End” and Art Vendors in the Park will return to Agawam Park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. When you need a break from noshing on mouthwatering bites from East End eateries, burn off a few calories as you learn the nuances of salsa during a Salsa Dance Party with Ernesto Palma on the grounds of the Southampton Arts Center from 12 to 6 p.m. and then check out the Chas Addams: Family and Friends exhibit at Southampton Arts Center from 12 to 6 p.m.
