Finishing off their fourth year of fundraising for the Navy Seal Foundation, Navy Beach of Montauk has raised more than $30,000 this past summer – between Memorial and Labor Day.
“Navy Beach has been truly fortunate over the last four years to both work with the Navy SEAL Foundation to assist the Naval Special Warfare community and to also be able to sponsor our efforts within East Hampton and Montauk where support for our Veterans and patriotic roots run deep,” said Navy Beach partner Frank Davis. “Over the last four years, Navy Beach has worked tirelessly to raise funds and awareness in support of the Navy SEAL Foundation’s mission of service to the warriors and families of Naval Special Warfare.”
Throughout the season, the casual beachfront restaurant runs a “dine and donate” program in which they charge an additional $1 to every check for the nonprofit organization, while additional donations are welcomed. Including funds collected in 2016, Navy Beach’s incredible fundraising efforts have resulted in a cumulative donation of more than $90,000 to the Foundation – over the course of the four years.
“Each year we are humbled by the generosity of Navy Beach and the Montauk and larger Hamptons’ community,” added Marc Wolf, Director of Development, New York Region, Navy SEAL Foundation.
The support generated is critical to those we serve and we cannot thank you enough.”

Alongside this program, Navy Beach hosts an annual cocktail party fundraiser in June, honoring at least one guest. This year, veteran and Long Island native RDML (SEAL) Thomas R. Richards, USN ret., former Commander of Naval Special Warfare Command was chosen as the guest of honor.
“The experience has been rewarding and the local community’s response and support has been tremendous. Next year’s kickoff event will be held at the restaurant on Saturday, June 17th,” noted Davis. “We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Navy SEAL Foundation in the future and continue to look for even more ways to help increase awareness for the foundation and its efforts while also helping to raise the funds required for the organization to carry out its core mission.”
