On Wednesday, October 18, you can make your typically mundane middle of the week exponentially better by treating yourself to an ice cream cone at Ben & Jerry’s in Westhampton Beach, and if you stop by from 12 to 3 p.m., you’ll be able to meet some adorable adoptable dogs.

Bideawee, a leading animal welfare and pet adoption organization serving metropolitan New York and Long Island, will be bringing a few exceptional four-legged friends who are looking for a forever home to the Westhampton Ben & Jerry’s location as part of a special fundraiser and pet adoption event.
“Ben & Jerry’s in Westhampton has supported Bideawee over the past few years allowing us to bring adoptable dogs to their shop and showcasing our pets in the community,” explained Amy Brostoff, associate director of marketing at Bideawee. “Toni and Peter, the store owner and manager, have always been so welcoming to our volunteers and animals, and we are grateful for their continued support.”
In addition to showcasing the lovable pups, Ben & Jerry’s is donating 30 percent of the proceeds from the day’s sales to Bideawee. So go ahead and treat yourself to that Mini Vermonster – because it’s for the dogs.
Bideawee, Inc., which has outposts in Manhattan, Wantagh and Westhampton, provides animals in need with “the highest quality shelter experience, medical care, socialization activity and adoption services.”
Ben & Jerry’s is located at 121 Main Street in Westhampton Beach. For more information, call 1-844-568-3738 or visit www.bideawee.org.
