Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt and South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo) are also paying homage to the Full Wolf Moon – legend has it that native tribes associated this particular moon to the nightly howling of wolves – with a leisurely-paced one-hour hike through open-field trails at SoFo that begins at 6:30 p.m. Dai Dayton, President, Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt, will lead the walk and light refreshments will follow. There is no admission fee to participate. SoFo is located at 377 Bridgehampton/Sag Harbor Turnpike in Bridgehampton. For more information, visit sofo.org.
