Gina Bradley, founder of Paddle Diva, and SusanSweats’ Susan Harrison are teaming up for the second annual Land and Sea Wellness Morning. Taking place at Shagwong Marina in East Hampton on Saturday, July 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the event will benefit Group for the East End (G4EE) which has led the way in protecting and restoring the environment of eastern Long Island through education, conservation, and advocacy. For those attending, the morning will begin with a guided standup paddle, led by Bradley, followed by a full-body conditioning class with Harrison and SILICHCORE. G4EE will also be on hand to discuss ongoing conservation efforts to protect the East End’s wildlife, waters, and land.
“The Group’s deep commitment to protecting the nature of the place you love is embodied with the Land and Sea Wellness Morning,” G4EE vice president Aaron Virgin shared. “Whether paddleboarding, meditating or taking a simple stroll along the beach, how we treat and care for the natural world has a positive, healing effect on all of us.”
Bradley, who authored the recently published Paddle Diva: Ten Guiding Principles to Finding Balance on the Water and in Life, believes paddleboarding is a way to get in shape and have a great experience on the water while offering a special mind-body connection. “I love getting people out of the gym and onto the waters of the East End,” Bradley shared. ‘It’s a great way for all of us to see the gorgeous bays that surround us while helping to deepen our understanding of what our environment needs to sustain itself for the future.”
Curating experiences for those looking to enhance their lifestyle or business through health and wellness, SusanSweats inspires clients to embrace fitness. “Our family has enjoyed the natural beauty of the Hamptons for generations and the best way to show our love is through giving back and taking care of the wonderful resources we are fortunate enough to enjoy in our backyard,” Harrison expressed. “Our second annual wellness event provides a chance for all to have fun, sweat, paddle, and enjoy the waters while also giving back to the wonderful Group for the East End.”
Tickets to the Land and Sea Wellness Morning are $250 and must be purchased in advance. Healthy snacks, beverages, and gift bags with exclusive goodies are included. 40 percent of the proceeds will go to Group for the East End.
