2019 Hamptons San Gennaro Feast To Feature Live Music, Italian Fare, An Auto Show, Competitive Eating Contests, A Carnival, And More

The 9th annual San Gennaro Feast of the Hamptons will once again take over Good Ground Road in Hampton Bays to present an entertaining mix of new activities and Feast favorites on Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29.

“Continuing off last year’s tremendously attended Feast, we have added new and interesting food vendors, an expanded car show on Sunday and Valet parking!” Rick Martel shared. “Admission is still free and it’s wristband day everyday at the Carnival!”

The festival, which draws thousands of visitors and locals to downtown Hampton Bays, boasts an exciting array of live entertainment, talented artisans, thrilling midway rides for all ages, a show stopping fireworks, lively competitive eating competitions, delectable Italian delicacies, a Fiat raffle, and more.

Saturday’s entertainment will commence with Carmelo Raccuglia from 12 to 1 p.m. on the stage. Then, it’s time to introduce and commemorate this year’s Grand Marshall, John Zuccarelli, at 1 p.m. Feast regulars, NYCE Guys, take the stage from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m., followed by the first of the eating competitions – the Cannoli Eating Contest – at 2:30 p.m. Music resumes at 3 p.m. with DeVerne & The Vintage Soul. Carol Williams headlines from 4 to 4:30 p.m. and then the Pizza Eating Contest amuses at 4:30 p.m. Franco Corso takes the stage from 5 to 6:30 p.m., followed by The Ronald Reagan’s Big 80’s Show from 7 to 8 p.m. The beloved Grucci fireworks show blasts off at 8:15 p.m. and The Ronald Reagan’s Big 80’s Show returns from 8:15 to 9 p.m.

On Sunday, Carmelo Raccuglia launches the performances at 12 p.m. Pamella Lee follows from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Girls on the Avenue are up next, from 1:45 to 2:15 p.m., and then the Zepolle Eating Contest takes center stage at 2:15 p.m. NYCE Guys are back from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. and more competitive eating fun continues – with the Meatball Eating Contest – at 3:45 p.m. Franco Corso is back from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and the Fiat Raffle winner will be announced at 5:45 p.m. That 70’s Band wraps up the live music from 6 to 8 p.m.

Car lovers will want to check out New York AutoFest at San Gennaro on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Feast will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Proceeds from the San Gennaro Feast of the Hamptons will support Maureen’s Haven, The Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, and the San Gennaro Feast of the Hamptons Scholarship Fund.
