Sustainable Southampton is a town outreach program funded by New York State Energy Research Development Authority via Clean Energy Community grants. Its purpose is to educate residents about choices they can make in their own home to save money while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. During 2022 our focus includes: heating and cooling, energy efficiency, demand response enrollment, electric vehicles and community solar. In addition other program elements such as solar, battery storage and Home energy audits continue to be promoted. All elements of this program are free and voluntary.
