Pulsing with the energy of their hometown New York City, Melt’s debut album If There’s a Heaven (2024) blends heartfelt indie pop, soulful rock, and danceable hooks into a joyful soundtrack for growing up and finding community. Recorded live to tape with producer Sam Evian (Big Thief), the album captures the band at their most dynamic and free-spirited, drawing comparisons to both Fleetwood Mac and MUNA. Since forming in 2017 and gaining early attention with “Sour Candy,” Melt has built a reputation for their electrifying live shows and tight musical chemistry, earning praise from NPR and sharing stages with artists like Grouplove, Lawrence, and Greensky Bluegrass. Now, after years of touring and honing their sound, Melt is hitting the road across North America this spring as a rising band to watch.
