On Saturday, June 6, from 3-5pm Navy Beach will host a kickoff event for Shred the Love Montauk, a charitable organization focused on supporting local community members facing hardship. The afternoon will offer drinks, light bites and live music to celebrate the start of love and share more about the Shred the Love mission: “To help locals in need when they need us most.”

Montauk General Store just opened its first permanent storefront at 805 Montauk Highway, and walking in felt like stepping into a memory I didn’t know I had. Think ’80s Malibu surf shack meets midcentury design, driftwood textures, stainless steel finishes, and vintage coastal Americana all layered together in the most effortless way.
The designs themselves are intentionally versatile, and the personal part comes from the person wearing it. Some clients customize a piece, some choose a meaningful gemstone or charm, and others simply make it their signature. I love creating jewelry that gives people the opportunity to make it their own.
This weekend, the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) will return to East Hampton for its seventh stop of the 2026 AVP League season. The world’s best professional beach volleyball players, including Olympians and AVP stars, will face off at EHP Resort & Marina (295 Three Mile Harbor Hog Creek Road, East Hampton), where approximately 300 tons of sand were trucked in to create a court worthy of the world’s best athletes, overlooking the marina.
