The 2026 Tom Twomey Series continues with “Prosperous Bohemians: The Rise and Fall of Weekend Utopia,” presented by author Alastair Gordon. Gordon’s talk will trace the history of the modern movement—both art and architecture—on eastern Long Island as chronicled in his groundbreaking 2001 book, Weekend Utopia: Modern Living in the Hamptons. An updated and expanded edition of the book was just published by Princeton Architectural Press, marking the 25th anniversary of its original publication. Following the talk, Gordon will sign copies of the new book, which BookHampton will have available for purchase.

Free admission. Advanced reservations requested but not required. For additional event information and to reserve a seat, visit: TomTwomeySeries.org
