Celebrate America’s Semi-quincentennial at the Southampton History Museum’s Heritage Fair!

Join us for an unforgettable celebration marking the 250th anniversary of the United States of America at the Southampton History Museum’s Heritage Fair! This one-day, family-friendly event will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, and will honor our nation’s rich history while celebrating our shared heritage and community spirit.

Enjoy hands-on demonstrations by skilled traditional tradespeople, sheep shearing and animal displays, live performances of 18th- and 19th-century music, and captivating stories about famous—and lesser-known—Long Island legends. Take part in interactive colonial and Victorian-era crafts, Contra Dancing, explore historic games and toys for all ages, and experience the traditions, the sights, the sounds, and yes, even the smells, that shaped our nation!

As part of America’s 250th celebration, military reenactors will bring history to life, demonstrating what life was like for soldiers from the past.

Stroll through history and step back in time as we come together to celebrate 250 years of American history, tradition and legacy!

From Rosé to a Lifestyle Collective: Jesse Bongiovi on Building Lily Pond Group

When Jesse Bongiovi launched Hampton Water Wine Co. with his dad, Jon Bon Jovi, in 2018, he helped redefine what modern rosé could look and feel like—sun-soaked, effortless, and rooted in moments shared with the people you love.

Now, with the growth of Lily Pond Group, he’s expanding that vision far beyond the bottle. Influenced by years spent in the Hamptons’ uniquely relaxed and refined culture, Jesse’s approach to brand-building is all about capturing a feeling: the blend of ease, taste, and connection that defines a perfect summer day out East.
