The Dog Watchers formed in 2015 from the remnants of various east end musical projects. The band consists entirely of local musicians from around East Hampton and Sag Harbor. Focusing on a broad range of covers from the golden age of the 60’s & 70’s, as well newer material. The goal is to surprise and entertain with songs you know & love, ones you may have not heard in a while along with ones that may be new to you. The band members are Michael Rusinsky on Lead Vocals and Guitar, Anthony Liberatore on Vocals and Guitar, Toby VanKeuren on Drums and Bob Charney on Bass. There were frequently dogs present in the studio during rehearsals and that’s how the band got it’s name. Repertoire includes songs from The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, The Grateful Dead, Van Morrison, Springsteen, The Decemberists, Steve Earle, The Band and many more. The band has played various venues all over the east end including The Stephen Talkhouse, Guild Hall as well as numerous private parties and benefits.

Montauk General Store Puts Down Roots, One Matcha Latte at a Time

There’s a stop on my Montauk map, and it might be my new favorite.

Montauk General Store just opened its first permanent storefront at 805 Montauk Highway, and walking in felt like stepping into a memory I didn’t know I had. Think ’80s Malibu surf shack meets midcentury design, driftwood textures, stainless steel finishes, and vintage coastal Americana all layered together in the most effortless way.

Where Fine Jewelry Meets Everyday Joy with Stephanie Gottlieb

The designs themselves are intentionally versatile, and the personal part comes from the person wearing it. Some clients customize a piece, some choose a meaningful gemstone or charm, and others simply make it their signature. I love creating jewelry that gives people the opportunity to make it their own.
