Other than the weather which still doesn’t feel like spring is actually here, one of the first signs that winter is finally over is the reopening of Hamptons seasonal restaurants and stores. One of the first to open their doors for the 2014 season is Mexican restaurant La Superica in Sag Harbor.
Starting Thursday, March 27, sit back, relax and take in the sunset view of the Sag Harbor Bay while listening to chill reggae tunes drifting through the laid-back restaurant. The diverse drink menu features summer favorites like rum punches, frozen pina coladas, and of course ice cold beer. Tequila fans make sure you try a margarita like a Perfect (my personal favorite) or a Top Secret if you prefer your cocktails on the sweeter side.
The supersized 2 lbs burritos are quite the sight. The behemoth meal which comes with a side of salad to balance it out of course, can be devoured that night for those feeling famished or last as leftovers for a few evenings.
And be on the lookout for the Most Interesting Man in the World. Rumor has it he makes an appearance there every once and a while.
La Superica is located at 2 Main Street in Sag Harbor. For more information call 631-725-3388 or visit www.facebook.com.
