“We are passionate about the work being done by Project Sunshine and want to help as best we can,” said Mihnea Grecu, Owner La Semeuse USA. “Because of Project Sunshine, 100,000 children with medical challenges are given the chance to experience a sense of normalcy.”
La Semeuse USA is partnering with Project Sunshine during April for Project Sunshine Month. The fine coffee purveyor is donating 50 percent of the total proceeds from La Semeuse’s Soleil Levant coffee to the nonprofit, which empowers a passionate group of more than 15,000 volunteers who provide free educational, recreational and social programs year-round to over 100,000 children facing medical challenges and their families in hospitals both across the United States and internationally.
“We are hoping to bring as much awareness as possible to this great cause with our own efforts and through the sale of Soleil Levant,” noted Grecu. Soleil Levant is a Fair Trade Coffee made from 100 percent certified organic Arabica beans from Guatemala, Peru and Indonesia, that features a nutty taste profile as well as a fresh round flavor. The coffee is available in whole bean or ground 8.8 oz. bags and ESE Pods.
Each year, Project Sunshine partners with national and local businesses to raise awareness and support of the organization during a series of events and programs throughout Project Sunshine Week, from Tuesday, April 21st through Tuesday, April 28th.
