A Real Life Clue Taking Place In The Hamptons During Murder Mystery Dinner

What happens when dinner guests at a Hamptons inn are witness to an eerie crime? They put on their detective hats and join the investigation during an audience participation murder mystery dinner, of course.

“We [Southampton Inn] strive to create reasons for people to come out to Southampton in the winter,” shared Suzanne Lynch, Southampton Inn Marketing Manager. “Our Murder Mystery Dinner is a unique event that offers an opportunity to come out for the weekend – as a single, a couple, or as a group.”

On Saturday, March 12th, Southampton Inn is presenting an evening of intrigue, excitement, and deceit, as attendees try to figure out who committed the atrocious treachery during Keith & Margo’s Murder Mystery Events. If you loved playing Clue growing up, this is your chance to bring the board game action alive (in a theatrical way). Audience members will receive a welcome packet complete with name tags and witness forms when they arrive at the puzzling affair. Once “in character,” the theatrical experience will begin with a cocktail hour with light hors d’oeuvres. As you meet the others, you’ll be greeted by the dinner’s host, who you’ll be able to quiz about clues that might help you figure out whodunit as the night progresses. As the thrilling quandary transpires, guests will take a break to ponder the situation and enjoy a gourmet 3 course dinner. The group’s lead private eyes (whoever solves the murder) will be awarded prizes, and if you can’t quite catch the killer, a humorous answer will also suffice because those that give the funniest answers will also be awarded.

“Keith & Margo’s hosts Murder Mystery Events nationwide and we’ve paired up with them to create what we hope will become an annual event,” added Lynch.

Admission begins at $90 per person.
